Lockdown wellness: 6 Fitness apps you must download to stay fit

Here are some mobile fitness apps which will help us to stay fit and fine during lockdown.

Globally, coronavirus positive cases are touching the sky with each passing day. India has jumped to being one of the top 10 worst-hit countries. Although the Government has permitted some offices and factories to resume their operations, many people still prefer to work from home to avoid getting Covid 19.

It is definite that we are away from access to space that we had before the lockdown. The lockdown has not only hampered many people’s mental but physical health as well. In fact, gym, yoga studio and fitness centres remain shut. However, keeping the mind and the body fit is equally important right now.

As we don’t have an option to go out and workout, here are some mobile fitness apps which will help us to stay fit and fine during lockdown.

SSG app was launched by Shivjeet Ghatge, CEO and Co-Founder, in January 2019. Now, it has crossed 5 million downloads and has 4.2 ratings on Google Play Store.

“Given the COVID-19 situation, it is imperative for any brand to consider the implications of the on-going crisis on the direct consumer. Keeping our user’s happiness and emotional quotient in mind, at StepSetGo, we are consistently working towards offering innovative engagement to keep the users occupied both mentally and physically,” Said Shivjeet.

StepSetGo has also introduced a campaign #CountingOnYou during initial 21 days of lockdown, where users were encouraged to walk at home as much as possible. It has launched multiple FitGames for users not only for expending physical energy but mental well-being too.
