The newest partnership on the block: Uber ties up with Manchester United

A global and fruitful partnership was recently announced between the global cab-services company, Uber, and one of the most popular football clubs in the world, Manchester United. This is the taxi aggregator, Uber’s first partnership in the sporting sphere and they have struck gold by investing in this deal.

The partnership is specially aimed at improving transport to for fans who are willing to travel to watch the match. Through this partnership, Uber hopes to make commutation to the matches less hassle-free throughout the season. A part of the partnership also dictates that a particular zone for Uber pick-up and drop-off will be set at Old Trafford which is the home ground of Manchester United. All the fans need to do is book an Uber through the app while going to watch the match or returning back home. The two partners have also claimed that through campaigns, they aspire to create the joy and fun of travelling to and from the epic stadium.

• It is the first partnership of its kind.

• Uber will now have a zone in Old Trafford dedicated to this cab service only.

• Campaigns which feature both the partners which will be a treat for the fans.
