7 Bollywood celebrities who are also entrepreneurs

Many B-town celebrities have found their foothold in the entrepreneurial world and have become successful business people. The seven celebrities listed below rock the silver screen and the business world equally:

1. Deepika Padukone

It is only fair to start the list with Bollywood’s queen who has carved a niche for her in Hollywood as well. Apart from being a great entertainer, she owns a clothes label called “All about you” sold on Myntra and has a line of power brand which is available across Van Heusen stores.

2. Sharukh Khan

King Khan truly brings his royalty factor to the entrepreneurial world. Apart from being an owner of a production house called “Red Chillies entertainment”, he also owns an IPL cricket team “”Kolkata Knight Riders” which make him a badshah in this field as well.

3. Lara Dutta

This former Miss World has finally found her calling in the world of entrepreneurs as she is the proud owner of a production house, Bheegi Basanti and a sari line in association with Chabbra 555. Apart from these, she has also released a DVD on prenatal Yoga.

4. Shilpa Shetty

The winner of Big Brother UK has taken all the correct steps to succeed in this field as well. From launching a perfume to a fitness DVD and becoming a partner of the IOSIS chain of spas in Mumbai, she’s done it all. Shetty also owns the IPL team, Rajasthan Royals, with husband, Raj Kundra.

5. Farhan Akhtar

This multi talented celebrity extends his forte to the business field as he owns Farout Media, which is a music innovation company and promotes indie talent. Apart from that, this company also offers services like music licensing and talent management.

6. Sushmita Sen

This former Miss Universe and very talented actress is also a successful mompreneur who owns a jewellery store in Dubai. Apart from that, she is the owner of a production house called “Tantra” and a restaurant called Bangali Mashi’s Kitchen which serves authentic Bengali food.

7. Kunal Kapoor
